#AskTheExpert My son is 13 months old (G6PD deficient). He has severe cold and cough. His nose is blocked. I put nasal spray and given him baby cough syrup (wikoryl and soventus jr). He gets cold every month and it stays for over a week. Pls advice what can be done.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should bggbe given only after a proper evaltuation .
