#AskTheExpert Hi .. My baby girl is 3 months 16 days old, she is on both breastmilk and formula milk. Do I still have to wake her up for the feeds every 2 to 3 hours, these days she is sleeping for long

A. it is ok. Mother feeding should be exclusive at least till 6 month of age of not directly then expressed milk can be tried. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

A. Till atleast 4 months, you can wake baby up for night feed as still they are unable to demand for milk when required. In 3 months, one time night feed would be enough and during the day too, feed in 3-4 hours depending on the milk intake everytime.
