Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever agtnd vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Nivea child is genuinely suffering with loose motions as in this age kids either have their teeth so they can suffer with lose motions and a lot of cases it could be due to an infection in the stomach so you can consult your doctor for further assessment and medication
