Q.
My son is 2 and half months old . From nearly 2-3 days he has started sleeping alot . He wakes up at 6am and stays awake until 12 noon wid 2-3 naps ... After which he sleeps continuously for the rest of the time.. N has his feed only 2-3 times between noon till midnight .. Is it something to worry about ?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. there is a lot of variation in the sleeping of the baby if the baby is otherwise taking feeding normally passing urine 1 to 10 times per day and gaining weight no need to worry

As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine a minimum of 6 to 8 times in a day, gradually gaining weight then nothing to worry. If you are still concerned better consult your child’s doctor for further advice. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand.
