Anita SharmaMom of a 2 yr 10 m old boy4 weeks agoA. Ear pain with fever in children is commonly due to an ear infection, either viral or bacterial, especially after a cold. It can also be caused by throat infection or fluid buildup in the middle ear. You may give paracetamol syrup in the correct dose for fever and pain relief. Keep the child hydrated and allow proper rest. Please consult a pediatrician for ear examination, as antibiotics may be needed if it is bacterial.
