Q.

my daughter was diagnosed with mild bilateral hydronephrosis in my antenatal scan,we have done her mcug and dtpa scan when she was 8 months old which was clear and didn't show any kidney dysfunction, since then we have followed her condition with USG scan until she was three years and then discontinued, the last scan showed bilateral hydronephrosis with ap diameter 14.1 mm in RT kidney and 14.3 mm in lft kidney after that recently 2 days back we had done a USG scan for her as she had low grade fever for 2 days and complained of frequent micturition for 2 days,it subsided eventually just with paracetamol 250mg for 3 days, but I want to follow up her USG scan ,the recent scan showed that there in no hydronephrosis in RT kidney but there is moderate hydronephrosis in left kidney with ap diameter of 15mm

A. See for this you need to consult a nephrologist as an expert guidance and consultation is required for further treatment as it can’t be ignored and recently she got fever and frequent urination problem so better to consult
