My daughter Is 3 yrs old and has a cough with vomiting at bedtime and a cough in the morning, Alex junior , Montair LC, lanzole giving from last 1 month now We are fedup kindly Advise, Peads says it's guts reflexes

Author of questionFather of 2 children1 Year agoA. Thnx Dr Sameer sir , nebulise with dualin and budecort was effective,but for Completely rule out we want to discuss with pead spl . In Faridabad Is there any Best Pead ? kindly Advise sir, there are too many names in Google

Cough along with Cold and fever most of the time is a viral illness or allergic and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration needs to be maintained. you can give steam inhalation which may be useful . cough needs to be treated with medicine like anti allergic expectorant bronchodilators antitussives or cough suppresents medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough and need. In severe gkcough nebulisation can be given where medicine directly gets dilivered in the respiratory tract. Also if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose is 15 mg/ kg body weight and can be repeated after 6 hours again if required . Home remedies like Tulsi & ginger mix in honey can be tried for soothing.

They could be a possibility of allergy and because of too much of cough and congestion your child is vomiting because when the cough increases sometimes vomiting can happen so it would be advisable for you to check for allergy and then you take a treatment accordingly in the meanwhile you can nebulise your child thrice in a day that will help
