My baby’s motion are not clear I’ve to give him medicine but first his motions were very clear daily but now he takes time what should I do

kshamaMom of 3 children1 week agoA. Hello Dr. my daughter is 2.3 years old and the past few weeks she is having constipation . She hasn't pooped for the last 3 days ..I am giving her Prunes and fibre reach food but it's not working so I started giving her medicine but whenever her pressure is coming she starts running and jumping after seconds she gets normal and this is happening so what can be the reason ,I am getting confused .how everything will be normal as per before.please suggest if I will complete the dose of medicine for week so her motion cycle will be regular? is anything to worry ..

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 4 m old girl4 years agoA. this is com at thisa age .Potty may be tight and difficult to pass during infancy and it is normal for a baby to pass motion on 2 to 3 days and may be up to 7 days . No need of any medication for this . Glycerine suppository can be used for lubrication .
