My baby is complaining for stomach ace can I give deworming medicine if yes which one is recommended

AmishaGuardian of a 2 yr 2 m old boy2 weeks agoA. Stomach pain can have many causes, so don’t give a deworming medicine just because your child has a stomach ache. If your child is over 1 year old and it’s time for routine deworming, the commonly used medicine is albendazole, but the correct dose depends on your child’s age and should be advised by your pediatrician. If the pain is severe, persistent, accompanied by fever, vomiting blood in stools, or your child seems very unwell, please seek medical care promptly.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 6 m old boy3 weeks agoA. Hey! It is not compulsory that the child is getting a stomach pain due to worms. It can be indigestion or some other infection also. So it is not advisable to self medicate or decide medication yourself for the child. Please get in touch with the consulting paediatrician for a proper medical evaluation and treatment plan.
