Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and rfefined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , goats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

Hi parents please avoid all packed food and products with refind flour please give easily digestible food like curd rice and khichdi vegetable soup and upma daliya mash etc please keep your child well hydrated with more liquid diet please give daily massage with Babyhug coconut oil
