A. For your 2-week-old baby, feeding amounts can vary, but generally, a baby at this age needs about 2 to 3 ounces (60-90 ml) of formula per feeding every 3 to 4 hours. If you’re breastfeeding, it can be harder to measure, but your baby will likely nurse for about 10 to 15 minutes per breast, around 8 to 12 times per day. At two weeks, babies typically feed on demand, meaning they should be fed when they show hunger signs like rooting, sucking on hands, or making sucking noises. Ensure your baby is gaining weight steadily, producing around 6-8 wet diapers per day, and showing signs of being satisfied after feedings. If you're unsure or have concerns, your pediatrician can provide guidance on your baby's specific needs.
