Q.

I started weaning baby from breast milk gradually. From 2 days have stopped completely. After a day, I am feeling heaviness and now pain has started as breast seems full now. I don’t want to give up and how should I reduce this pain and how long it would take for breast to dry up and become normal like before?

A. Hello good evening !! Yes due to the leftover milk forms as lumps ,become heavier and cause pain. Heat pack or ice pack on the ducts wherever you are having pain for 8-10 minutes will melt down the lumps and express out the milk . It takes 3- 5 days to dry up .
