Q.
i need to return to work in 2 weeks but my baby is rejecting the bottle. he is biting the bottle nipple instead of sucking the nipple. kindly guide what can be done for this. also i have tried giving breast milk in bottle even then the same thing is happening

Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stagge specially with bottle feeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most off the time .

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children3 years agoA. don't develop the bottle habit baby can have milk in a cup or glass or sipper.. schedule the feeding plan as you have to resume office.. start with solid as baby completes six months
