Q.
I’m mother of 25 days old baby boy. Still my period is going on. Sometimes stop and again starts after one two days. It’s not proper bleeding but mixture of white discharge and blood. Is it normal??

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Bleeding often lasts for around for four to six weeks, but could last up to 12 weeks after your baby's born . Bleeding will start off heavy and red to browny red. It will become lighter in colour and flow over time . If it does not reduce after 2-3 months or heavy bleeding, consult with your doctor

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 1 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Bleeding is normal till 40 days after periods. They will stop after that. Please take healthy diet and don’t take tension as you feeding the baby. Thanks and take care
