Q.

I have given my husband's cough syrup Ascotor Dx 4 ml to my 14 month baby instead of Ibuprofen 4 ml . will it harm my baby long term ? any symptoms I should keep my eye on? also my baby had a fever so had to give Ibuprofen 4ml as well post the wrong syrup.

A. Four ways are very high amount of medicine to be given to the child who is 16 months old and you’ve given cough syrup which are not advisable under the age of four in general and this is an adult also yes you should keep an eye and also consult your doctor discussed the issue with them
