I am a mother of 45 days old baby my milk supply is low at evening times and my son is not getting enough milk. I started using domperidone from yesterday night how long it takes to increase milk supply. is it useful

Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational coungfsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supplements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle fteeding which may be the culprit for lactational failure most of the time .

About two or three days on the minimum side with a regular consumption of the medicine the body is going to get a signal to increase the lactation so you have to give it some time if it has to help you it will start giving you good result within the time of two or three days
