hi mam know my boy is 5 months old. His weight is 8.90 is it good for his health at this age.

A. Namaste Mom Check the weight as per the birth weight as a full term baby is expected to almost monthly gain in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight

A. No.. It's overweight.. What's his birth weight? Birth weight should double by 6 months and triple by 1 year.. For example.. Birth weight 3kg then at 6 months 6kg at 1 year 9kg is normal.. Till 3 months 20-30gm/day weight gain After that only 400gm per month weight gain is normal
