Q.

hello Dr. My boy have fever cold cough, & my doc advised syp Monocef 100 4ml / bid, but coz of taste my baby wasn't swallowing the syrup vomiting within seconds ...What should I do? should I again give him dose ? Pls suggest me am. confused. TIA

A. Hello, your baby boy is 16 months old and if he doesn’t like the taste of medicine then you can add little honey or sugar or fruit juice into it

A. no problem we can give the medicine deleted with water are fruit juices are even with honey Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate advice in this regard if there is need for investigations also

A. No If your child vomited after 10 to 30 seconds then the medicine will start working already no need to repeat the dosage is repeat the dosage when it is required and if it is fever then you start doing cold sponging that will help in reducing down the temperature
