#asktheexperts my son is 2years and 7 months and currently weight is 11.6 kg it's ok or should I have to worry about it and also has birth weight is 2.5 kg....

ExpertDR MINAL ACHARYANutritionist4 days agoA. dear mum, a weight of 11.6 kg is slightly on the lower side for your child at the age of 2 years 7 months. By now, child should be at least 12 kg.

According to the birth of the current rate seems to be good but yes there is a scope of increment and that will happen over the period don’t worry about it along with all the family foods give more of proteins in the diet and keep the child physically more active to increase a natural appetite and growth of your child
