#asktheexperts my daughter was born on 10 th march she was yellowish after a day on 14 she had a checkup her jaundice was 17.2 she was admitted for 2 days after that jaundice reduced to 12.5. Still her eyes are yellowish and face also please recommend how long will it take to fully recovery it’s almost a month and still jaundice is there

A. It can take about a week or so if you are not keeping your child into phototherapy otherwise I would currently advised you to start with a vitamin D supplement keep your child into indirect sunlight twice in a day for 30 to 40 minutes which will help in absorption of vitamin D will help in reducing jaundice levels
