#asktheexperts My baby was born on 33.5 week on 23rd of November at that time, his weight is 1.930 g. After that her weight is 1.750 g and I checked that it is his weight is 1.800 g, so I didn’t understand why he’s not gaining weight. Kindly confirm me because everything is normal. Doctor said that everything is fine with a main issue is regarding his weight.

Maybe your breastfeeding that you’re giving to the child is not enough which is why the child is not gaining weight with a premature child it is expected that the child would gain at least 350 g in a month if that’s not happening I suggest you to start giving formula to the child
