#asktheexperts my baby taking around 1 week to poop....so dr recamanted to go for thyroid chekup did you think Any upnormal in the result

Author of questionGuardian of 2 children11 months agoA. he told that in serum TSH 0-5 is normal for babys...and ther is small variations.. so it will be the reason for consupation

Seems like it is well within the referral range so I don’t see any problem and also why your doctor has advised you to get this thyroid test done once that I don’t know because constipation is completely normal in this age so there’s no need to get any testing done
