#asktheexperts My baby girl is not gaining weight. she is 9 months old and her weight is only 6.25 kg. At the time of birth she was 3.6 kg. all other babies expected milestone at 9 months is achieved except weight gain. she eats well but no weight gain. what to do?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 days agoA. Don’t worry if the baby is eating well as eventually the baby will gain weight start giving mashed potato yo the baby and even mashed sweet potato and add desi ghee to meals

Since your child is nine months complete now you should start giving proper food and diet to the child we should include all the family foods plus good proteins vegetarian as of now yellow part of the egg from the age of 10 months and chicken and fish from the age of 11 months which would be very helpful in total weight gain and growth
