#asktheexperts i have given birth to a baby boy on 28 december he was prematured baby ,after delivery i have many issues with my body as i have unbearable itching on my feet and palm when it start it makes me cry second is i have pain in my knees too please give me some solution

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. kindly check your liver function test once because the even if they are altered there could be severe itching all over the body. if that is not the issue then consult a dermatologist

Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through day while breastfeeding your baby. Try applying Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil on the itching area.
