#asktheexperts I had a missed miscarriage 12 days ago. I have hypothyroidism. can it be the reason for the miscarriage? how soon can I try for conception?

A. Hello! There can be many reasons for pregnancy complications. Thyroid hormones are essential for development of fetus and to maintain a healthy pregnancy. It is advisable to check with your consulting gynaecologist to manage your thyroid medication and when it is safe to try again for a healthier pregnancy.
