#asktheexperts hello sir / ma'am please help me to gaining weight for my 5 month old baby girl,her current weight is 4.25 , please suggest to any food for her.

A. Namaste Mom The baby seems active and well, babies for now if they are able to balance their head and neck well you can introduce them to weaning foods , where you can initially start with liquid consistency foods and gradually from age of 6 months you can give semi solid and mashed foods monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight,
