This is a very common and normal reaction to the BCG vaccine, which typically occurs 2 to 6 weeks after vaccination and is assigned that the babies immune system is responding correctly. Keep the area clean and dry. Leave it alone. Do not squeeze or pick. You should be expecting a scar gradually once the bump will eventually crust. But if there is any discomfort in the child, please let your doctor know the situation.
