#asktheexpert Hello, I have a 4 month baby girl ,she coughs everyday when she wakes up,we are giving the medications prescribed,but it is still continuing,we have a pet(German shepherd dog) in the house as well,canit be the cause?how to take measures?

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 2 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times. You can also put saline drops in the nose of the baby. Please keep the baby away from the pet as it might be causing allergies in the baby. Thanks and take care
