#asktheexpert Hello doctor! plz suggest a general ear drop for babies. My daughter is scratching her ears. Seems dryness.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. rubbing of ear as well as itching of the ears is totally normal. if the child is not crying do not worry about it and to decrease the itching senssation you can apply coconut oil over it. do not use earbuds to clean the internal ear cavity. external ear can be cleaned with the help of clean cotton cloth. treatment is given only if the child is crying with pain while itching. for pain you can give paracetamol
