#AskTheExpert good morning ma'am 🙏 my son is 9 month 14 days, weight is 7.5 kg,, but he is not able to sit without support,,, with support he can sit well but without support he sit few seconds ,then lie down he tries to crawl,, he also stand with support on lap... kindly help me regarding sitting without support

I think it's better that you consult your doctor in person and see if the baby is having any problem because usually by know the baby should develop sitting without support

it's ok dear.. My daughter learn to sit without support after 9 months..very child is different ,give them there on time if they don't sit after 10-11 months ,yes it's matter of concern. Mean while make sit your child with support and place toys in front of him, gradually they learn to sit

You can help her learn this by putting firm and sturdy toys in front of her to lean on. Give her as little support as she needs, so that her tummy and back muscles get stronger. As she gets better at sitting, you can give her less support. Some parents use a play ring to give their baby extra support.
