Q.

#asktheexpert Aira was born 1 n half month early then the expected date and was in inculcator for 14 days and was under observation as her lungs were not develop. after discharge she was on formula milk for 1 month due to low weight. but now I am not able to produce sufficient milk for her. so I give her Dexolac formula milk. let me know is it safe and healthy.

A. you can continue with breastmilk then but try to feed more frequently. suckling reflex stimulates breastglands immediately to produce more milk immediately. mother should eat healthy and stay hydrated

Hi Yes you can give any formula milk If possible give breast milk Give formula milk like similac or nan pro It’s substitute for breast milk Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
