1.my baby was crying a lot at two months and then during 3 4 month she was ok .... but after start of 5 th month agaim she started crying always. what could be the reason? 2.can i use pacifier? is it harmful?

A. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple / teether/ soother if cleaned. the problem arises when it falls down and goes again inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infection and cough and cold and loose motion if the child is crying at this age it can be due to either teething pain or it might be a part of colic pain due to some digestion problem or it might be due to nasal blockage or some body pain which might be initiation of a viral fever also. also look for fever, oral ulcer, insect bite ord skinrash and allergy. you have to treat according to the findings so better to visit a doctor. d
