P GGuardian of 2 children4 weeks agoA. Most babies start sitting independently between 6 and 8 months. Some may sit without support as early as 6 months, while others may take until 8–9 months, and that's completely normal. Regular tummy time and plenty of floor play help strengthen the muscles needed for sitting.

Remember that every baby developed at their own pace and there is no comparison with others. Once your baby is able to hold the neck without support, you can make the baby sit for smaller duration of time with support and a pillow. Regularly massage with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
