ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist5 years agoA. Dear mum, for 1 year old, give all family foods the way you prepare at your house. Give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables.
At least 500 ml of milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese.
You can give eggs and non veg food.
Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food.
Give top food 4 to 5 times a day and up to one katori every time.
Continue to breastfeed baby.

In one year, you should feed the baby 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids like water, buttermilk, fresh juices and coconut water. Include foods like besan and beetroot cheela, eggs in different forms, chicken, fish, rice with dal, chapati with paneer gravy, stuffed parantha, chapati with vegetables, mixed vegetable soup, khichdi, oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, seasonal fruits and 550 to 650 ml milk everyday.
