no cold no cough ,only mild cough which is very light ,but my child got sudden fever of 101.3 f ,what could be the reason, also after giving fepanil 250 5 ml ,temperature is not reducing, but my doctor is telling only give paracetamol ,but temperature is not reducing after giving 3 times also,I also asked the doctor for meftal ,but he is only telling for paracetamol not meftal ,what should I do, temperature is not reducing also

A. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol.s higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after gisving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere
