My son is in grade II. he is telling us that he doesn't have a best friend in class and its hurting when the children speaking with him suddenly being friends with other children and not being with him and this makes his feelings hurt. I told him that don't go behind the kid who doesn't speak with you,consider speaking with everyone in the class and you will get a BF.am I guiding him right?

Partially yes you are right when you said that you should talk to everybody make everybody your friend but also teach your child there is nothing for best friend and this actually no best friend and kids are going to go whoever so you have to explain it to the child be friends with everybody but there is no need to have a best friend for you looking for a best friend you can always come and talk to your parents nobody is going to be better than them for you
