Q.
My son 9.5 months old is suffering from fever. Dr has prescribed him calpol 250 and meftal p( for high fever) . He had got fever (103°F) in afternoon now its repeating every to 3.5 hrs. I gave him calpol at 4:55pm and meftal at 8:38 pm. what should I give him if fever repeats again in 3 hrs.

SrijitaMom of a 3 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. if not get down the temperature then do sponge with lukewarm water.it works.nd maintain Calpol dorp dose atleast 4 to 5hrs of gap.maximum 5 doses in 24hrs

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. do not repeat less than 6 hours do cold sponging ko kFever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees
