Q.

My baby took pcv vaccine at 6 weeks. At 10 week and 14 weeks i gave her other vaccibes except pcv. Is there any problem? When can i give her pcv

A. it is advisable to complete 3 dosage of PCV pcv which also stands for pneumococcal vaccine is a very important vaccine and is mandatory for all children. at present the vaccine is that much important that the indian government is giving it now free of cost in regular vaccination schedule. meet your doctor who will tell you the schedule for pneumococcal vaccine. even if it was missed previously you can go for it now also. this vaccine prevents infection due to pneumococcal bacteria which can affect the brain throat chest the child

A. good evening I would recommend you to try to follow the vaccination chart provided by the baby's pedatrician it is a very reliable record and contains all the details of the vaccination and due date
