A. This is a common phase in 7–8 month babies. Don’t force feed. Try offering food when your baby is slightly hungry, introduce finger foods like soft banana or idli, change taste and texture, and keep mealtime relaxed and playful. Possible reasons include teething, boredom with the same food, mild illness, or a developmental phase. It’s okay if solids are refused for a short time because breast milk or formula is still the main nutrition. However, since your baby hasn’t gained weight for 2 months, you should consult a pediatrician to check growth and nutrition. Seek medical advice urgently if your baby is losing weight, very weak, or refusing both milk and solids.

A. Teething can definitely be one big reason behind it apart from that also I’m going to recommend you that you should add salt and spices into the food that you were giving and make the consistency a little liquid to semisolid for the child to consume easily hopefully this will work in your favour
