My baby is 10 days old, at night time, feed is not sufficient for baby. I breastfeed 5times at night, she do not sleep for long tym, Can I give Woodwards for the baby at night? How much can I give?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, do not give any sort of gripe water to your baby. It is better and dangerous and can cause infection to your baby. Some of them also contain alcohol and opium like substances. Exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. Feed baby every 2 to 3 hours.

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, it is nkt advisable to give gripe water to such small babies. You should feed every two hours to your baby. And must burp him after each feed. Also if your baby is urinating 8 to 10 times in the day then your baby is well fed and well hydrated.
