my baby is 1 year 8 months old , but only says few words like papa , dada , kaak , peep peep , boo and doesn't speak any language . even if we say something she doesnt repeat the word. is it a normal behavior ? I am telugu and father is Bengali ,we both speak with our daughter in our own language since birth ..does if affect child's speech ?

Yes that is what happens when you speak different languages a child can get confused between two words that is why this is happening also I’m not very certain about how your child is responding to how well is the eye contact and all who is better to take an assistance with your doctor
