A. Sleep talking is completely normal for a child or even for an adult that usually happens when you have something in your mind when you go to sleep and it’s actually troubling you or it’s been there for a long time so it’s normal to talk about it

Q. my son is 2 year 3 month old, he got thumb sucking habit..we almost got success in getting rid of this habit by constantly talking to him...but his sleep cycle has reduced.usually he sleeps in for 2-3 hours in afternoon and 8-9 hours at night but after talking about his thumb sucking habit and telling how his habit leads to teeth alignment , his afternoon sleep cycle reduced to 0 and in nights he is waking up whenever he gets the urge to thumb sucking....how to approach this?
