Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. measles is a type of viral infection caused due to measles virus. as it is a viral infection so it is self limiting and only relief and symptomatic treatment is required. give warm water to drink. give regular diet and give bath. atleast the child should consume 70 percent of regular diet.x follow the treatment given by your dr for relief medicines. keep the child away till the rash goes away from other children. z

Then kindly consult your paediatrician as for also proper course of medication would be required and accordingly they can help you which medication would be good for precautions do you need to take during this time of any other dietary alteration is important for you to be taken care of
