Q.
Kindly suggest some remedy to stop breastfeeding for 19 month old baby. We tried to apply some edible bitter substance on nipples but he even swallows that when he feels lot of urge for breastfeeding. If there r some home remedies or any cream to be applied, suggestions would be highly appreciated.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. Weaning from breast feeding takes time so have patience and start giving wholesome meal to the baby in dinner and reduce day time nap and increase physical activities and also try to divert mind with bed time stories and keep trying
