A. dear mum , sugar shd not b given till 2 yrs this is to develop healthy eating to avoid sweet tooth , to reduce risk of overweight and dental caries

A. Yes, too much added sugar is not good for babies. Babies under 2 years should ideally avoid added sugar because they don't need it for healthy growth and development. Excess sugar can reduce their appetite for nutritious foods and may increase the risk of tooth decay and unhealthy weight gain. Natural sugars found in fruits and milk are different from added sugar. For a baby, it's best to offer nutritious foods without adding sugar or salt. ❤️
