Q.
I am exclusively breastfeeding a 19 month baby girl. she is eating some food but not taking any other milk like formula, cow milk, soy milk etc. Yesterday got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, the doctor has asked to stop breastfeeding to start treatment. I had no plans to wean her off breasts this soon and this comes as shock to me, any tips on how to stop breastfeeding?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 months agoA. dear mum , ur situation is understandable now that u have to wean baby start with dropping day time feeds then move to night time feed b firm n consistent in ur decision give filling meals , show ur love in other ways bed time routine other than breastfeed
