Hi , my kid is 2 years and 3 months old. she is not speaking, she speaks her own words. Also she does not use gestures like pointing and clap etc. but she understands.

Consult a speech therapist maybe there is a little bit of delay in the speech of your child so once your doctor is going to examine they can tell you better and if the child is not able to understand things or understand things how they are meant to be done or shown or not pointing then you should take an assessment with your doctor for sure
