My baby is 5 month old, since yesterday he is crying and not playing, he is actually very playfull but today in the morning he got hit onnhis mouth accidentally with my hand and blood comes out from his mouth,... So, now when he vomits it was liquidic with some blood cloth type... I am worried is it because of gum that throws a blood while vomiting or he has some stomach issue... pls reply

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. please show him to a doctor urgent ok. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

UYou can actually get a check with the dentist once you’ll at least know whether the child has got hurt in the gums or not and that way at least you’ll be sure about you take any medicine or ointment uneed to apply in that area the dentist can advise you the same as well and probably your child is not active because of the pain so don’t worry about it it is normal at this age
