Hi Dr My daughter is 2 month old and she is suffering from loose motion. And every poop she is crying very much and medicine o she can relax from pain and she can sleep. Please suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 8 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs duue to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination
