Hi Doctor My baby boy is 8months 27dqys old. He suffering from watery Runny nose & squeeze. pls suggest medication.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. due to viral due to seasonal variation. For common cold home remedies like giving steam to baby works very well and of fever is there then give paracetamol for same . Other remedy includes nasovion nasal drop for blocked nose and ascoril ls for cough .

Runny noses can be treated by using gentle bulb suction or another suction device like the NoseFrida to clear the mucus from the baby's nostrils. ... Saline drops. ... Plenty of fluids. ... A cool mist humidifier. ... Petroleum jelly. ... Avoid decongestants and menthol rubs.
